Gudjon Bergmann (LMT) founded Mindful Hands Massage in April 2024 to help people reduce the side effects of modern living. He addresses stress, muscle imbalances, fascia restrictions, chronic tension, mobility, pain, and more. By offering therapeutic massage, deep tissue massage, sports massage, myofascial therapy, and wellness treatments, he can treat various physical ailments and promote overall well-being through bodywork.
Gudjon is a licensed massage therapist (LMT), part-time massage therapy instructor (MTI) at Austin Community College, and medical massage practitioner (MMP). His massage approach is mindful, firm, therapeutic, and relaxing. He has decades of experience in yoga, meditation, and stress management.
Gudjon is skilled in multiple massage techniques and has received extensive training from renowned teachers. He has studied orthopedic massage with James Waslaski (pictured above), medical massage with Tamlynn Cameron, scar tissue therapy with Pete Whittridge, trigger point therapy with Indira Rubio and much more.
Gudjon believes in creating a strong community for massage therapists. He has been a coordinator for the Austin region since 2024 and was voted to represent Texas as a delegate at the 2025 and 2026 AMTA National Conventions. He is pictured above with Cindy E. Farrar, the national president of the American Massage Therapy Association.
The office is located in north San Marcos, on the southern border of Kyle. It is easy to access from I-35. Take exit 208 going south and exit 210 going north.
