Gudjon Bergmann (LMT) founded Mindful Hands Massage in April 2024 to help people reduce the side effects of modern living. He addresses stress, muscle imbalances, fascia restrictions, chronic tension, mobility, pain, and more. His goal is to apply scientific thinking and mindful touch to every treatment. By offering medical massage, deep tissue, myofascial therapy, and wellness treatments, he can treat various physical ailments and promote overall well-being through bodywork.
Gudjon is a licensed massage therapist (LMT), massage therapy instructor (MTI) at Austin Community College, and medical massage practitioner (MMP). His massage approach is mindful, firm, therapeutic, and relaxing. He has also written 30 books and has decades of experience in yoga, meditation, and stress management.
Gudjon is skilled in multiple massage techniques, such as Swedish, deep tissue, myofascial therapy, trigger point release, PNF, scraping, dynamic cupping, and orthopedic massage. He is dedicated to lifelong learning and community engagement. He currently serves in several volunteer roles with the AMTA in Texas.
In August 2024, Mindful Hands Massage opened its office in San Marcos at Hays Physical Therapy and Wellness. The location is near the Kyle-San Marcos border, behind Chuck Nash Chevrolet and the Buc-ee's that is currently under construction, with ample parking and easy access from I-35 via exit 208 southbound and exit 210 northbound.
The office is in San Marcos on the south border of Kyle. It is easy to access from I-35. Take exit 208 going south and exit 210 going north.
